Jeff Shafer, Head Coach
Jeff Shafer, camp director, is beginning his first year as head coach of the Seminole State Trojans. After 22 years as a high school baseball head coach, Coach Shafer returns to Seminole State where he played from 1980-1982. He and his college teammates compiled a won-loss record of 164-16 and were NJCAA National Runner-Up in 1981 and 1982. He then continued his career at Texas Christian University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education. He spent seven summers working in player development for the Minnesota Twins organization.
Coach Shafer´s players are always fundamentally sound and continually strive to reach new levels of excellence. Seminole State baseball camps will reflect the same philosophy. Campers will receive the highest quality of instruction in baseball fundamentals and will participate in a variety of drills to improve their mechanics of hitting and pitching. His camps are always considered a place where "the best get better."

James Martin, Assistant Coach
James Martin is a native of Eufaula, OK. He played at Seminole in 1990-1991 where the Trojans went 153-9 and two World Series appearances. James was drafted out of Eufaula High School, both seasons at Seminole and after his junior season at Oklahoma State University. He played 10 years of professional baseball ending up in AAA with the Dodgers, Mets, and Astros. James played one season in Taiwan as well. His experience and desire to teach young men the proper way to play the game of baseball is second to none.

Charlie Duval , Assistant Coach
Charlie Duval is from Missoula, Montana. He graduated from Valley Christian High School in Missoula, MT. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from the University of Montana in 2005. He served as the assistant coach for Missoula Mavericks from 2002-2005. Charlie is in his first year at Seminole State College and is the catching instructor.

Jordan Freel , Assistant Coach
Jordan Freel graduated from Duncan High School in 1998. He played from 1999-2000 at Eastern Oklahoma State College and 2001-2002 at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He started his college coaching career at Northeastern State University in 2006. Jordan is in his first year at Seminole State College and is the infield instructor.
