Jeff Shafer, Head Coach

Jeff Shafer, camp director, is beginning his first year as head coach of the Seminole State Trojans. After 22 years as a high school baseball head coach, Coach Shafer returns to Seminole State where he played from 1980-1982. He and his college teammates compiled a won-loss record of 164-16 and were NJCAA National Runner-Up in 1981 and 1982. He then continued his career at Texas Christian University, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education. He spent seven summers working in player development for the Minnesota Twins organization.

Coach Shafer´s players are always fundamentally sound and continually strive to reach new levels of excellence. Seminole State baseball camps will reflect the same philosophy. Campers will receive the highest quality of instruction in baseball fundamentals and will participate in a variety of drills to improve their mechanics of hitting and pitching. His camps are always considered a place where "the best get better."
